It feels wonderful to be back, with my first e-newsletter of the new year and my first posts as the Creative Trust Research Fellow at the Toronto Arts Foundation. 2013 is beginning to look like it might be very merry and bright, with the wonderful news of long-awaited new arts funding from the City of Toronto.  What an exciting time to be working with everyone at the TAF to discover and examine new ways of making our arts community stronger, more resilient, and more essential to life in our city.
You may have noticed that everything still looks the same, but we’re working on a revised look for this newsletter and the website to be unveiled in the near future. And until further notice, all my contact information stays the same , but that too is being tweaked and updated.
While we’re welcoming in a brand new year, I’d like to send a very warm welcome to Creative Trust’s newest addition. Anahita’s daughter was born on November 14, 2012. I hear she’s already adept at reaching out and engaging highly committed new supporters.
